How do I register for an event?

If the event is displayed on the main page, page down until you see "More Information", click it, and then press the "Register for this Event" button on the next page. You can also select the "Events" link on the top menu bar.

Having trouble logging in as a PMI SWOC member?

It is possible that the browser you are using is not configured to accept 3rd party cookies. Please review the following instructions to ensure your browser is properly configured:

How do I get PDU certificate for an event I have attended?

If you don't have a SWOC Login ID, click Login and follow the directions.

  1. Login to the site, then click "My Information".
  2. Click "View Certificate" beside any event and a window will pop up with your certificate in it.
  3. Press "File, Print ..." and send it to a printer of your choice.

How do I become a PMI South Western Ontario Chapter ( SWOC) member?

This can be done at the PMI web site www.pmi.org. Login, select "Get Involved", then "Chapters". 
Be sure to pick "South Western Ontario Chapter" as the chapter you wish to join.

Why do I sometimes get an error screen?

A timeout is set to prevent resources at the host site from being consumed when the system is not in use. If you continually get these sorts of error screens, please copy the screen by pressing the "Prnt Scrn" button on your keyboard (this will copy the screen into your 'clipboard"), and past it into a document then email it to us at  support@pmiswoc.org

How do I update my contact information on this website?

Please make changes to your contact information at www.pmi.org (select "My PMI"). PMI sends out daily chapter membership lists which we upload to the website. Updated contact info will help ensure we have your latest info and that you receive our updates and notifications.

How do I log into the website for the first time?

If you are a PMI SWOC Chapter member:

  • Click on LOGIN from the left hand menu.
  • Enter your last name in the User Name area (with only the first letter capitalized).
  • Enter your PMI Member Number in the Password area.
  • You then can create your own username and password

What if I forget or want to change my password?

Click on "Login", enter your User Name and select "Send My Password". Your password will then be sent to the email address on file.

I just became a PMI SWOC member, why can't I access the Chapter website?

Our website synchronizes with the main PMI site once per day. If you registered before the last update it may take another cycle before the site recognizes you as a member.
