Membership Information
Since its founding in 1998, PMI SWOC currently boasts 354 members in PMI SWOC and 204 are PMPs (as of December 2005). South Western Ontario Chapter is a chapter of PMI. This chapter provides a unique opportunity for professional project managers to network and learn from one another. You must be a member of the Project Management Institute to join the South Western Ontario Chapter

A membership database is held by the Chapter and used to communicate on an ongoing basis to our members. Communication includes upcoming project management courses, job opportunities, and monthly communications from PMI.
Once a year the chapter offers a mentoring program - as a mentor, you share your experiences and lessons learned; as a mentee, you can learn best practices. An outside trainer provides a top-notch 4 hour training session and a commitment of approx. 1 calendar year is required.
PMP EXAM PREP WORKSHOP
Take advantage of the opportunity to participate in the Chapter's PMP Exam Prep Workshop and receive a reduction in enrollment costs for being a South Western Ontario Chapter Member!
NETWORKING & INFORMATION EXCHANGE
Take advantage of the opportunity to meet and communicate with our peers in the South Western Ontario area either at our monthly networking meetings, our quarterly Chapter Meetings or other events throughout the year (PDU credits available where applicable).
SPECIAL PROJECTS & VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Participate in the special projects such as the 2001 Canada Summer Games and other projects including the growth and development of our own Chapter.
PMI COMMUNICATION
Receive weekly Friday Facts and other informative communication instantly to stay on top of Project Management developments.
CHAPTER LIBRARY
A selection of professional resources are available for loan including past PM Network magazines, PMI Seminar notes and the Annual PMI Salary Survey results.
