Project Management Material Lending Program

Project Management is a profession of continuous learning and development. Many of us use both the internet as well as published materials for research purposes to aid us in our professional development. We often require access to hard copy material but only for a short period of time. Some of our employers have business libraries, but this is not always the case, or the information we need is not there.

We are pleased to introduce a new Project Management material lending program in co-operation with the London Public library.

PMI-SWOC has initiated the Project Management materials lending program to benefit PM professionals, students and anyone interested in Project Management.  Our chapter will collect the material which will be housed within the library system. The PMI-SWOC website will host the index of materials available. The library will facilitate lending the material through their standard lending process.

How did we do this?
Our chapter has been fortunate to recently receive material donated by PMI members and Project Management subject authors.

Does this endorse books or products?
Not at all; we are advocating the PM profession and are providing access to Project Management related materials.

How you can help?
To help us build our collection, we are requesting donations of material from our members or their employers. Donations of material are requested as follows:
  • Within the scope of Project Management
  • Books ,CD’s, DVD’s, or magazines
  • Excellent condition
  • Ideally books within 3 years of publication, but older publications would be subject to the libraries discretion.
