How to become a member?

To become a member of PMI South Western Ontario Chapter, you must be a PMI member first (Individual Membership US$129/year plus one-time US $10 application fee.  Student Membership US$32/year) and can become South Western Ontario Chapter member (Individual Membership US$30/year.  Student Membership US$5/year) at any time. 

Note:  Your PMI and chapter membership expiration dates will be the same regardless of when you add a chapter(s) Therefore, if you only have four months left of your PMI membership, your chapter membership will expire in four months as well, despite when you joined the chapter.  .

Step 1:  

Visit the PMI site at and register on Join PMI.

Step 2: 

Choose the type of membership you want.  The student membership is reserved for full-time students in a recognized program with a diploma.  

Step 3: 

Create your account or log in if you already have a PMI account. This account will help you manage your membership and certifications.

Step 4:

Follow the steps to fill in your information, purchase your membership to PMI South Western Ontario Chapter and complete your transaction.

You DO NOT need to be a member to become certifie. 
However with your PMI membership, you will receive a member discount of US$150 for the PMP® Exam.  You will also have access to a free PDF copy of “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)”, a savings of around US$50 as well as many other member benefits.  Visit PMI Membership Exclusive Rewards and Discount Page for details.
